Graffiti is aging and is now part of the domain of art history. Books on graffiti, or specific graffiti artists, are increasingly numerous, but only some of them become cult publications, "must-haves" in a collection. In 2023, we saw the release of gems like Bando’s Black Book, but very few reeditions of important books that have become rare or too inaccessible. It’s the case with the monograph "Saeio 2009-2014," which unfortunately had been out of reach for a few years. "Saeio's work extended beyond the street; he was a multidisciplinary artist who also expressed himself through video, poetry, and performance. [...]

Undoubtedly, Zurdo's exhibition at the Montana Gallery was a long-awaited event, among other things, because of the curiosity that his pictorial work -probably the lesser known side of his creative work- arouses. His canvases -windows to Zurdo's complex reality that mixes graffiti, feelings, society, politics and art to offer an aesthetic experience that hides an infinite number of coded messages- will be up until March.
